Fashion and colours that save the planet

Can you really save the planet by choosing which colour garment to buy and checking my fashion choices?
Yes.... you most definitely can.
Consider moving away from the weekly fast fashion cycle, to a monthly fashion cycle, to an annual fashion cycle or even longer.
How much would that save in natural resources given that you would be consuming MUCH less, but also saving your bank account?
It doesnt mean you have to drop off the fashion trend lines, but rather not be at the bleeding edge of it.
Or even consider having a pop of that new colour in your outfit makeup, rather than the statement piece being in the new colour... like accessories lining up with the "in vogue" colour scheme rather than your jacket which is much more costly to you and the environment to change frequently.
Better yet... consider timeless fashion, its timeless for a reason. Think Black tie events, considered the pinnacle of opulence and society.... the colour scheme never changes.
So how about an entire wardrobe of timeless fashion garments that never date, in a colour scheme that lasts longer than a week, month or year?
That would be the pinnalce... any small step towards this optimal wardrobe is a massive help.
Remember... we dont need millions living perfectly, we need BILLIONS living imperfectly.
Every small change, from everybody in our global community, creates the tidal wave of change needed to save and prerve our natural world.
