Conscious consumption, a simple and small change in our everyday lives, can make a monumental difference in repairing and reversing our harmful impact on the globe.

Our passionate team do the research and cut through the greenwash marketing, as we love giving our customers back their time and instilling confidence that they are making the right buying choices.

Our Backstory

The Giving Co has been evolving in the mind of our founder, Mitch Sargent, for almost a decade and now is the time to launch with many external factors aligning for the greatest impact on the world.

As an avid outdoor lover and traveller, he has experienced the harmful effects we are having on our natural world; scuba diving in South East Asia, and witnessing the sea floor littered with human waste, or travelling through what seemed like untouched corners of the world only to find the visual evidence the harmful effects of irresponsible consumption.

The more affluent an individual is, often the greater their contribution to the degradation of the natural earth and therefore the greater the impact they could make through sustainable consumption.

From travel to disposable “fast fashion” culture, food consumption (volume of food, type of food and supply chain choices) or simply purchasing items without regard for the environmental impact.

Our commitment

Enabling small changes in billions of lives would be the ripples that create the Tsunami of change required for our natural world.

Through more sustainable consumption in the developed world, and better education on the topic globally, we can elevate our current trajectory of our harmful effect on the natural world.

We believe that we, as a collective of individuals, we can change the downwards spiral on which the natural world seems stuck on for decades; governments need to do better, businesses need to do better and we as individuals can do better.

The Giving Co is removing all friction points to enable an easy transition for all and then being the long term conduit to the global population to live a sustainable existence.

Together

To shift the needle on our current degradation of the natural world, all we need to do as a collective is make conscious decisions in our everyday life; from the food we eat, to the clothes we wear and even who we buy our electricity from.

This collective of individuals is powerful, but if we can also inspire more businesses to model our level of giving then this will magnify the effect of rejuvenation and preserving the world around us which benefits every person on this planet.
